well, we have now been here in lubbock 1 month. yep....lubbock.....1 WHOLE month.....lubbock..........
its really not that bad. its just a big change from dallas. I am still a stay at home daddy, but i think jarretts getting a bit tired of me. Its amazing that there are really no stay at home dad playgroup that i can find. I guess the lubbock population isnt hip to that kind of thought yet.
Grandma kate was in town over the weekend and we had tons of fun. jarrett got to have grandma time and grams got to have jarrett time. I know they both enjoyed it. AND tomorrow aunt tasha, uncle jose and the cousins Annika and Stephen will be here. they are staying for THIS weekend. yippie ( this is the first time they have seen the little lad.)
Jarrett can now roll himself over from back to tummy and back to back from tummy. it was a bit stange putting him down to sleep on his tummy, the in the am he would be on his back ( sometimes even turned around)
He is learning to sit and while he still hasnt mastered it yet, he is making very good progress. There is this seat called a BUMBO, its from south africa, and it helps babys (like jarrett) work on there trunk control and sit up. its pretty cool. i wish i had one for me now. anyway.

just kidding she says hello and she is doing just fine. but between you and me, we are all just a bit homesick...
i still cant belive that he is almost 6 months old... good lord.
