Well Jarrett got his first peice of mail today. His social security card. i wonder how they come up with the numbers...anyway the good news with that is not only is he a sweet little baby but he is ALSO as sweet little tax deduction. ka-ching.

for those who dont know..babies grow quickly and holy crap he is getting big. i cant even guess how much he weighs.. i do know they sell turkeys that weigh more and that is strange to me.

the nights are getting better. i woke up, the lights were off and everyone was asleep. and it was good...

nothing new to report. Jarrett still has the eye oggie thing, the worst part of that is jade has to put the medicine on the INSIDE of his eyelids...i get the jibblys every time i think about it...gross stuff. On a whole though everything is good.

daddy firsts

ok. see the little dude in my arms.. well tonight at his bath he finally did it. What is "it" you say? IT is pee on me. yep. thats right.. pee. I should have known it was coming. one whole week of changing diapers and nothing...but when he takes a bath out it comes.

I guess i am just blowing it out of proportion because everyone has asked " has he peed on you yet?" I think i will start a club...the Dads Who Get Peed On club. We could all high five or something....

Jade is fine, just really tired and i dont blame her. As a guy whos wife just gave birth,you find a whole new respect for your special lady when she goes thru mommyhood. Shes up every hour every night feeding or changing or both...sure i get up sometimes and help out, but if jesus himself came down at 3am and said "its my second coming, let get to it" i am sure i would be asleep. snoring.

well, here is jarrett sleeping....about to have his diaper changed. you know, when you have a kid you learn to do more and more things with one hand, for instance.. typing as i am demonstraiting fou you now. it does not stop at this, oh no.. i can light a candle, feed the dog. open a beer, really the list goes on.
enough of that...... update on Poopie Williams , he has a slight eye infection..when i say that i mean he has eye oogie when he wakes up. its no big deal. from what they say its normal.
so thats it for now... more pics should be on the way ( i just figured out how to do it)

hello again

Hello all, i am just getting the hang of this "blog" stuff, so bear with me....
As you now know Jarrett Austin made his grand entrance wedensday dec. 7th. He came by C-section....and as we all know C-section babys are real good lookin because there is no squishy face or cone head. I am not saying that canal babys are ugly, its just Jarrett is the best looking thing on the planet. (daddy is just a bit biast..and yes i know i spelled that wrong)
As of right now Jarrett is eating and i have found out that babys only do 5things....poop, eat, cry, look, and wiggle. Thats it. But I also found out that you love every second of those 5 things.

anyhoo, i need to go tend to stinker...will update as time rolls on. Oh, also, if i can figure out how to put pictures on this...i will add more..

8lb 7oz and 22 in. I arrived Wednesday at 6:57 pm. Mom is doing fine.
